Travelers Celebrates 30 Years in Ireland
Thirty years ago, Travelers entered the Irish commercial insurance market. A lot has happened since then.
Today, our Dublin office is now home to a team of over 60 employees and we provide our Irish clients with local support, backed by the financial strength of a global company that has been a leading insurance provider for 165 years. This helps us give businesses the peace of mind they need to plan for the future – no matter where it takes them.
The Irish market has helped Travelers to extend its insurance solutions to businesses around the world. Following Brexit, we established Travelers Insurance Designated Activity Company (TIDAC) in Ireland in 2019 so that we could continue to serve European clients. This allowed Travelers to grow its presence in the EU and beyond. TIDAC now writes business in Ireland, the UK, 30 countries in mainland Europe, and across the globe.
