Oliver Corton: Travelers Europe possess a significant marine wide offering from their base in London and have done so for many years now. The Marine division represents around 1/3 of the wider syndicate and includes dedicated offerings on Marine Cargo as well as Fine Art & Specie, Marine Hull, Marine Liability, as well as Ports & Terminals related products. In recent times at Travelers, our Cargo offering has been centred on UK Cargo. In 2025 we made the decision to bolster our International Cargo offering from London.

Text: Who is Travelers Cargo Insurance for?
(SPEECH)
Oliver Corton: Travelers’ Cargo insurance is designed for businesses that move goods around the world. This includes importers & exporters, manufacturers, trading & logistics companies, and sectors involving energy, food & beverage, electronics, and agriculture, to name a few. We support e-commerce and retail businesses. We support Project Owners, including large project cargo risks for construction & engineering firms, moving heavy equipment internationally. Cargo insurance is essential because global trade faces growing risks—like supply chain disruption from geopolitical events, extreme weather, cargo theft, pandemics, and escalating threats such as lithium battery fires. Our cover helps businesses stay resilient in an increasingly unpredictable world.

(SPEECH)
Oliver Corton: Travelers offers a range of cargo insurance solutions, focused primarily on transit-based cover—protecting goods while they’re on the move. This can be arranged for a single shipment or as an annual policy for businesses regularly trading across global supply chains. We provide specialised policies for large-scale marine and infrastructure projects, such as wind farms, solar parks, and power plants, to name a few. These can include cover for extremely high-value shipments, as well as advanced business interruption protection for financial losses linked to physical damage. Elsewhere, our stock throughput policies provide seamless cover from transit through to storage, protecting goods against risks like fire, theft, and natural catastrophes. As an extension to this and for clients with increasing cargo values, we offer excess transit and stock cover to support layered insurance programmes and growing exposures, not catered for in primary policy limits

Text: Why Travelers?
(SPEECH)
Oliver Corton: Brokers can access Travelers Europe in the usual way via our Lloyd’s or Company platforms. We can offer up to $50 million in capacity for any one conveyance, location, or combined limit, with A-rated security available on both a lead and follow basis. We’re proud to be based at Lloyd’s alongside our wider Marine colleagues and always welcome the chance to trade face to face. Equally, we recognise we can’t be everywhere, so we partner with specialist providers in certain regions. These partnerships are helping expand access to Travelers’ expertise and capacity globally.
With the cargo market expected to grow by as much as 50% in the next 5 years, we’re excited to support the future of global trade.
